This page informs visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information for our service Shar.ec.

We do collect information about you - when you complete a purchase through our third party payment processing platform, Stripe. The information collected (e-mail and credit card details) is used so that we can send a receipt and validate ownership of the purchased product.

This information is never shared with other parties.

We do not collect or transmit any other personally identifiable information about you, such as your name, address, phone number or email address within the application.

We don't use any analytics software.

Recorded data

We cannot decrypt or otherwise access the content of your screen recordings. We store the end-to-end encrypted recordings on our servers for 90 days. The recordings are archived after 24 hours, unless the user decides to keep it available for 90 days.

The encryption key needed to access the contents of your recording is in the url that you may share with others.

The encryption key needed to access the contents of your recording is added to the shareable link as a hash (#). By storing it this way, we ensure that the browser never sends the key to our servers, and hence cannot be intercepted.
